Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?
Yes...I will love to learn to enhance inner beauty more, from it I can gain more real confidence free from the ego. Almost everyone will love that..Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?
A lady once came up to me in a J.C. Penny parking lot (got to love the irony) and said if Jesus Christ were to show up right then and there, would I accept him into my heart? Honestly, I had to say, yes, if I saw Jesus come to Earth in a Southern California Strip Mall, I'd accept. She said, well, he's coming back sometime somewhere, so accept him now and beat the rush. She didn't win a convert, but she did get a grateful smile. Maybe I missed a great opportunity, but you know what? I'm going to pass on yours, too. I mean, my answer to your question is yes, but I'm not too interested in beating the rush, you know?Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?
You can ';obtain'; them by ';knowing that in the morning you are rising to the work of a Man,'; as Marcus Aurelius so beautifully put it.
you mean learning to love yourself.
What are you selling? I don't think that anyone really has the answer to that question. It is usually a ';come on';.make up school

Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?
Hey dont get rough...I know brains much agreeable but Im on the negative side(beauty) of the debate...you know... which is more important betwwen beauty and brains
---------------Please reason out for beauty-----------------------------
***thank you***Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?
Well................ Beauty is something that most everybody enjoys being around............ you know, not only beautifull people, but beautifull surroundings, natural beauty, expensive beauty, I spose it just makes you feel good. Its all well and good to have brains but isn't it nicer to simply gaze on beauty ??? Ask a small child, no, observe a small child's reaction to beautifull people as opposed to weathered and ordinary looking people. They will naturally gravitate to beauty.... it's simply inate, we are born that way. Me personally ?? I happen to be cursed with beauty and blessed with brains.................. hahaha......... nearly 11.00 p.m. at night feeding my addiction at the computer......... just goes to show wot beauty is really worth............... :0)
PEACE
........ :0)Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?
hey, I agree with you.
people who don't know you will be nicer to you, looking in the mirror makes you feel good about yourself, you are more likely to be admired by others(boy or girl), you can get a job in modeling acting and have a better chance in the music industry, who doesn't like hearing they are beautiful, etc.
I think the people who say beauty is only on the inside are in reality not very good looking, aestetics are wonderful, Personally I rather look at works of art then listen to a long lecture.
BOTH HAS ITS OWN IMPORTANCE
when we see a person it is difficult to judge a person weather is has got brains or not.we need to ask some questions to him but when we see a very beautiful person we are impressed at that moment.
no.brains are more important.i mean who wants a woman who is dumb as a box of rocks.beauty can be made beautiful, but its not very good to be with someone whos dont know which end is up.

What do you think about beauty pageant's?
Especially the ones that involve little girls ages 1-14. Are these children being exploited by their mothers or are they learning charm, poise and confidence as their mothers claim? Is is right to do all the big hair, makeup, tanning and the glitzy clothes for a little girl? What kind of women are these stage mothers? What do you think about beauty pageant's?
I find it immoral and disgusting. I believe in free thought and those formative years are crucial to a childs development. They're not little toys, they're human beings who deserve the right to be children. Vanity should NEVER be taught to a female, especially such a young one. That's something you develop on your own as you grow. I literally am repulsed by the mothers who are so spiritually disconnected that they don't see what they're turning their children into. What do you think about beauty pageant's?
I hate pageants. Especially the ones for little girls. They are not learning charm and poise and confidence. They are learning to be fake, to compete with others, to measure themselves by their peers, to place their self-worth in something as shallow as their looks. Many girls who are beauty queens end up spoiled, entitled, snotty, and generally not very nice people.
Personally I think it's just wrong to fix up a little girl and make her look like a sexy grown woman. It's perverse! There's no way in heck I would ever wanna fix up my innocent little peanut to look like a pedophile's dream. And I don't think it is healthy for a child to become so focused on their body, either.
I don't know what kind of women those stage mothers are. I doubt that all of them are fulfilling themselves vicariously through their daughters, although some definitely are. Some are in it for the status of having a kid who is better looking than everyone else's kid, and that's pretty scummy.
Under 14 is sick, disturbing on many levels; appeals to the more prurient adult interests incl pedophiles and does damage to the children by skewing their POVs re themselves and their perceptions and values, and is, frankly, shocking when you see these little girls dressed up in these ridiculous dresses and have makeup that no adult woman would wear. Outrageous.
I find them disgusting.
That argument about charm etc. is completely bogus. A pageant is an artificial, and is not a social, environment. The way to learn things like charm is to learn how to navigate social situations.
You don't learn how to converse by parading around on a stage, hoping to beat the competition.
I also think dressing one's young child like a mid-priced hooker is child abuse.
I think the little girls probably like the attention but it also teaches them at an early age that their looks are the most important quality they posses. I dont think they should be made to look like women with makeup and big hair and stuff. I think the mothers motives are very selfish. Why would you put your 2 year old through something like that other that for your own gratification?
Beauty Pageants for little girls are not for the children, it is a way for the parents to live vicariously through their children. It is the same with the pressure parents put on their kids in sports at a young age.
It is more the insecurity of the parents that need this to show their worth as a parent.
';What do you think about beauty pageant's?'; - The sole purpose of my living on earth is to watch them.
1-14 ? That's just insane. Stupidity. It's these people that later complain that their girls are depressed that they don't fit in with the media's stereotypes of what's attractive.
Most people who aren't actually involved in child beauty pageants will agree that they're horrifying and disturbing events.
They're ok...
As for ages 1-14 my only question is WHY?? These people turn minors into sex objects then complain about all the pedophiles.
They suck, especially those for children. Well, they are actually for the parent(s).
I have seen them on tv and we dont have them here. America is messed up for having stuff like that

Ideas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?
I teach and I did an activity on sunday where i had kids write down on paper who they think is beautiful... three out of the four wrote people who are beautiful on the outside.... I want to continue this lesson to help them understand the importance of inner beauty but i dont know how to do it... any helpIdeas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?
The Ugly Ducking story helped a bit when I was younger, but it may not send the right overall message.
I would suggest repeating that someone is beautiful/handsome every time you come across them. Such as... you see a female nurse, not classically beautiful, and say ';That beautiful woman, over there, she helps to keep people healthy and make sure you feel good so you can play more games.'; Keep it simple and positive and they will hopefully start to see that good people are attractive no matter what they look likeIdeas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?
talk about personalities what makes a person different and how everyone is different.

Is a low carb-high protein diet the best for health and beauty?
Yes. Keep away from prepared foods. They are killing us.
