i was just wondering b/c i am going to be in the natioal american miss pageant but am a little scared b/c this will be my first pageant so i just wondered what knid of question they asked in the interview maye that will calm my nerves!!! well hope you can helpWhat kind of questions do they ask at a beauty pageant interview%26gt;?

Being in a National American Miss Pageant myself and taking second runner up I know the exact answer. It all depends on what you write in your resume.


If you write you like cooking they may ask





'; If I was to come over for dinner what would you cook for me?';


Or if you write you like any other hobby they may ask,





';How did you get started doing this hobby';


If you wite you know a second languange they might ask,





';How did you learn it?';


Of course one question you can be almost always sure they can ask is,


';Have you been enjoying your pageant experince?';


Sometimes you can find they ask questions like...





';Why did you want to do this pageant?';


';What chores do you like the least?';


';Are you excited about starting school?';


';If you go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?';


';What qualitites do you find important in a friend?';


';If you were stuck on an Island and you could only bring one person who would it be and why?';


';If you could be any car what would it be?';





Anyway they will never ask a queston that has a right answer like





';What is your state flower?';





Anyway a tip for your interview is to always have eye contact, don't fidgit, smile, and always say the reason for your answer.





You should also remeber to get enough sleep before your interview and have a good breakfast or lunch before it, you don't want your tummy to rumble during your interview ;)





The most important thing though is to be confident when you walk in the interview room.





So don't stress you're going to do great.... as long as you follow these tips.

I have done a few pageants myself. They ask questions about government, news, and whats going on in life right now. They also ask questions about your personal opinion, for example, like what you think about war, peace, love, and how you would make the world a different place. Watching the news and reading the newspaper will help you with a lot of the questions they will ask. Keep up to date with what is going on in our world today. Beauty pageants ask these questions because they want a girl with beauty brains and talent.
depends on the beauty pagent. does it have a certain theme? When i was in Miss Usa contest they ask the boring, normal question like ';what is yoru one wish'; and you answer the normal, boring question that is expected of you ';for there to be world peace';
You probably had to give a fact sheet about your self or a resume. So most often they will ask you about it.


Example situations:


If you had Basketball as an activity then a question could be ';While on the JV Basketball team what did you learn?'; example answer ';I learned how to communicate with people from different backgrounds and improved mywork ethic.';





voluteering: ';Why did you choice to voluteer with Habitat for Humanity?'; I choice to volunteer with habitat for humanity because I believe every family should have a home. This also helped me find a career goal. I would like to be a real Estate agent who does probono work for families with low incomes.';





Make sure you stay up on the news. They may aske you a question on the war. Example answers could be ';I think that on should always try resolving conflict with word not war. But now that we are in a war I think it very important to support the troops.';


or '; My friend _____ is a soldier in Iraq and i think its very imporant to help the soldiers know that we support them and I pray it ends soon. The war has liberate millions of women and allowed the to seek education and the power to vote. As a woman I find that very encouaraging to see that women all around the world are getting the power to vote.';
