How many dry poffins does it take to max out a pokemons beauty?

i need to know because i have a feebas and i want to know how long it will take to max its beautyHow many dry poffins does it take to max out a pokemons beauty?
I believe it has to do with how strong each individual poffin is.

Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?

Yes...I will love to learn to enhance inner beauty more, from it I can gain more real confidence free from the ego. Almost everyone will love that..Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?
A lady once came up to me in a J.C. Penny parking lot (got to love the irony) and said if Jesus Christ were to show up right then and there, would I accept him into my heart? Honestly, I had to say, yes, if I saw Jesus come to Earth in a Southern California Strip Mall, I'd accept. She said, well, he's coming back sometime somewhere, so accept him now and beat the rush. She didn't win a convert, but she did get a grateful smile. Maybe I missed a great opportunity, but you know what? I'm going to pass on yours, too. I mean, my answer to your question is yes, but I'm not too interested in beating the rush, you know?Would you be interested in learning about obtaining self confidence and inner beauty if you had opportunity?
You can ';obtain'; them by ';knowing that in the morning you are rising to the work of a Man,'; as Marcus Aurelius so beautifully put it.
you mean learning to love yourself.
What are you selling? I don't think that anyone really has the answer to that question. It is usually a ';come on';.

Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?

Hey dont get rough...I know brains much agreeable but Im on the negative side(beauty) of the debate...you know... which is more important betwwen beauty and brains

    ---------------Please reason out for beauty-----------------------------

***thank you***Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?
Well................ Beauty is something that most everybody enjoys being around............ you know, not only beautifull people, but beautifull surroundings, natural beauty, expensive beauty, I spose it just makes you feel good. Its all well and good to have brains but isn't it nicer to simply gaze on beauty ??? Ask a small child, no, observe a small child's reaction to beautifull people as opposed to weathered and ordinary looking people. They will naturally gravitate to beauty.... it's simply inate, we are born that way. Me personally ?? I happen to be cursed with beauty and blessed with brains.................. hahaha......... nearly 11.00 p.m. at night feeding my addiction at the computer......... just goes to show wot beauty is really worth............... :0)

    PEACE

........ :0)Why do you think that beauty is much more important than brains?
    hey, I agree with you.

people who don't know you will be nicer to you, looking in the mirror makes you feel good about yourself, you are more likely to be admired by others(boy or girl), you can get a job in modeling acting and have a better chance in the music industry, who doesn't like hearing they are beautiful, etc.

I think the people who say beauty is only on the inside are in reality not very good looking, aestetics are wonderful, Personally I rather look at works of art then listen to a long lecture.
    BOTH HAS ITS OWN IMPORTANCE
when we see a person it is difficult to judge a person weather is has got brains or not.we need to ask some questions to him but when we see a very beautiful person we are impressed at that moment.
no.brains are more important.i mean who wants a woman who is dumb as a box of rocks.beauty can be made beautiful, but its not very good to be with someone whos dont know which end is up.

What do you think about beauty pageant's?

Especially the ones that involve little girls ages 1-14. Are these children being exploited by their mothers or are they learning charm, poise and confidence as their mothers claim? Is is right to do all the big hair, makeup, tanning and the glitzy clothes for a little girl? What kind of women are these stage mothers? What do you think about beauty pageant's?
I find it immoral and disgusting. I believe in free thought and those formative years are crucial to a childs development. They're not little toys, they're human beings who deserve the right to be children. Vanity should NEVER be taught to a female, especially such a young one. That's something you develop on your own as you grow. I literally am repulsed by the mothers who are so spiritually disconnected that they don't see what they're turning their children into. What do you think about beauty pageant's?
I hate pageants. Especially the ones for little girls. They are not learning charm and poise and confidence. They are learning to be fake, to compete with others, to measure themselves by their peers, to place their self-worth in something as shallow as their looks. Many girls who are beauty queens end up spoiled, entitled, snotty, and generally not very nice people.

Personally I think it's just wrong to fix up a little girl and make her look like a sexy grown woman. It's perverse! There's no way in heck I would ever wanna fix up my innocent little peanut to look like a pedophile's dream. And I don't think it is healthy for a child to become so focused on their body, either.

I don't know what kind of women those stage mothers are. I doubt that all of them are fulfilling themselves vicariously through their daughters, although some definitely are. Some are in it for the status of having a kid who is better looking than everyone else's kid, and that's pretty scummy.
Under 14 is sick, disturbing on many levels; appeals to the more prurient adult interests incl pedophiles and does damage to the children by skewing their POVs re themselves and their perceptions and values, and is, frankly, shocking when you see these little girls dressed up in these ridiculous dresses and have makeup that no adult woman would wear. Outrageous.
    I find them disgusting.

That argument about charm etc. is completely bogus. A pageant is an artificial, and is not a social, environment. The way to learn things like charm is to learn how to navigate social situations.

You don't learn how to converse by parading around on a stage, hoping to beat the competition.

I also think dressing one's young child like a mid-priced hooker is child abuse.
I think the little girls probably like the attention but it also teaches them at an early age that their looks are the most important quality they posses. I dont think they should be made to look like women with makeup and big hair and stuff. I think the mothers motives are very selfish. Why would you put your 2 year old through something like that other that for your own gratification?
Beauty Pageants for little girls are not for the children, it is a way for the parents to live vicariously through their children. It is the same with the pressure parents put on their kids in sports at a young age.

It is more the insecurity of the parents that need this to show their worth as a parent.
';What do you think about beauty pageant's?'; - The sole purpose of my living on earth is to watch them.

1-14 ? That's just insane. Stupidity. It's these people that later complain that their girls are depressed that they don't fit in with the media's stereotypes of what's attractive.
Most people who aren't actually involved in child beauty pageants will agree that they're horrifying and disturbing events.
    They're ok...

As for ages 1-14 my only question is WHY?? These people turn minors into sex objects then complain about all the pedophiles.
They suck, especially those for children. Well, they are actually for the parent(s).
I have seen them on tv and we dont have them here. America is messed up for having stuff like that

Ideas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?

I teach and I did an activity on sunday where i had kids write down on paper who they think is beautiful... three out of the four wrote people who are beautiful on the outside.... I want to continue this lesson to help them understand the importance of inner beauty but i dont know how to do it... any helpIdeas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?
The Ugly Ducking story helped a bit when I was younger, but it may not send the right overall message.

I would suggest repeating that someone is beautiful/handsome every time you come across them. Such as... you see a female nurse, not classically beautiful, and say ';That beautiful woman, over there, she helps to keep people healthy and make sure you feel good so you can play more games.'; Keep it simple and positive and they will hopefully start to see that good people are attractive no matter what they look likeIdeas to help kids understand beauty is more than skin deep?
talk about personalities what makes a person different and how everyone is different.

Is a low carb-high protein diet the best for health and beauty?

Yes. Keep away from prepared foods. They are killing us.

What is your definition of beauty?

What is your definition of beauty?

Or, what does ';beauty'; mean to you? What is your definition of beauty?
Beauty is something that stops me in my tracks in amazement and wonder. I can never describe it in words and do it justice. It transcends words' meaning.

Actually, I would say it transcends the physical and communicates with the soul. What is your definition of beauty?
    To me, beauty is harmony.

In sounds, harmony creates music, and the most beautiful feelings arise from inside your soul while the tunes are adjusting your neurotic system to its beats.

In paintings, mixing agreeable colors and shapes create fantastic impressions in your mind and soul just by looking at an expressive work of art.

In engineering, harmonious shapes and designs are awe-inspiring and emphasize the sense of touch and solid reality.

In Nature, the colors, the breathing of life among the trees and flowers that are wildly scattered over the mountains, overlooking a glittering brook giggling down the valley, make you feel alive and inspired.

In people, harmony of looks and behavior; appearance and signals coming from inside the person, together they create attraction, which is the door to appreciating the persons' beauty.

In children, the simplicity of their innocence mixed with their helplessness and need for your care work together to provoke your expectations of their future and stir your feeling of tenderness towards them, is a form of beauty of life creation.

In animals, birds, insects and all living organisms, the order, the perfection of the live chain of existence is awe-inspiring and creates the feeling of beauty.

In our souls, the harmony between what we feel and what we see creates happiness which is the inner beauty.

Harmony is the key, but for the senses it requires colors, shapes and contents, and for the soul it requires appreciation for positive vibrations whether emitted from inside out, or flow between you and the other objects of the outside world, simultaneously.

That is beauty in my opinion.
Beauty is holiness exuding. It is a charm of the face, even without a smile in the lips and in the eyes, but most of all of the good-natured attitude of an individual expressed in kindness and compassion. It is an art which is inborn, a natural one. It may be expressed in different forms, from poems to theater, to music which nourishes the soul through its mellow, peace-loving melody. It is also expressed in visuals, like the still one, which is painting or slides. But maybe, most of all, because it carries God in his/her heart, if a person, and in the heart of the art, which is its soul. Beauty is at par with the ideal, the good, and the true. This is all I can say for the moment. Beauty can also be found in scents, like perfumes. It is also felt through touches, especially if I could touch you with the fingers of my soul...
One who does good things, thinks good things, feels good, and is happy.

This will manifest into physical beauty, whatever you consider physically beautiful is up to you though.
i honestly think it depends on the person's preferences. it sounds cliche but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
If you can define it, it aint beauty
    Beauty is as beauty DOES.
beauty is everything that is good in life.
Beauty is the looks that make you feel comfortable :)

There is nothing wrong with putting your child in beauty pageants! Maybe if people would stop stereo typing, they'd realize that there is a choice of glitz or natural so you can enter and not wear make-up, tan, or have fake hair, etc. I was in pageants because I liked making friends and having fun! Has anyone ever used swedish beauty tingle power tanning lotion?

I'm hispanic so I'm pretty much already tanned but I like to maintain a bronzy look especially for summer... has anyone tried swedish beauty in ';sinful';? if so, was it good and would u recommend it on someone who is already tan?Has anyone ever used swedish beauty tingle power tanning lotion?
I would not reccomend any of the ';tingle'; tanning lotions. My friend and I actually went tanning the other day and I got the wrong lotion, which just happened to be a tingle lotion called Hot 2 Trot. She thought it was no big deal and applied it all over. About 3 minutes later i noticed these red blotches all over her skin, then that turned into red all over her body. She said it wasn't tingling, it was burning. Well, she called yesterday and I guess she has little bumps all over her skin.

A good tanning lotion is Tanorexic! It smells fantastic and gets you nice and dark!

Cinn =)If in the Garden of Eden in addition to the Tree of Knowledge, there had been a Tree of Beauty and a Tree of?
You said ';IF'; I get that. I can only deal with the what is's. i.e. there was just the tree of knowledge which opened up the knowledge of all things. Including Beauty and Wealth. I will not prolong my answer with a sermon, suffice it to say,

The original act of disobedience of the woman, Eve, in the Garden of Eden is the reason mankind does not live naked and carefree in a sort of Garden of Eden today. And why the suffering and calamities prevail around the world.

Eve and Adam learned from that act of disobedience a great mystery of life.

What did they learned that was so compelling that God had to drop the other shoe, so to speak, on them?

Mankind learned a secret that most humans today fail to know what exactly they learned from the Tree of Knowledge specifically. I will give you the initials of the specific thing they learned. TSOC
That damned money tree of course.

    Plus, next time I hear that crap about ';what, you think money grows on trees'; I could say, ';yeah, kiss my as*';

I was gonna say a p*ssy tree..but I figure with that kinda money women would be plentiful. ;-) I mean we're actually talking about what tempts you most, right?

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others,or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance

Should the WWE promote women based on skill, more than on beauty?

In my estimation, TNA promoting Awesome Kong, ODB %26amp; Roxxi Laveaux are good examples. They aren't ugly. But, they aren't exactly centerfolds. They are true athletes.

Thoughts?Should the WWE promote women based on skill, more than on beauty?
It is not necessarily one or the other; look at Beth and Mickie; but if were are talking bimbos like Sable, or Trish Stratus before she learned to wrestle, or Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson, etc--that is eye candy only. Vince has said, this is not ballet--but it should not be burlesque either.

Girls with character: Sara Del Rey; Cheerleader Melissa, Lufisto, Angel Orsisi, MsChif--they can generate interest because of ring skill and persona--they can't compete with Candice the porn star, etc. with the horny guys. I give Candice props; she has tried to learn to wrestle and sacrificed her body to do it.

Get mostly wrestlers and throw a few bimbos in to saifsy the juveniles and dirty old men.Should the WWE promote women based on skill, more than on beauty?
Yes, I am sick of talentless ';divas'; (There are a few good ones though, I like Beth and Victoria when she wasnt a jobber). TNA has a much better woman's division, especially Awesome Kong.

But still, Lufisto is the greatest female wrestler there is right now.
i think it's possible to do both. there are Divas, past and present, that fit the bill both ways. there are hot women that can wrestle.

and, to satisfy the males, maybe hire a couple women specifically for eye candy only, and don't put them in the ring unless absolutely necessary.
No, most of the WWE fans are horny teenagers so if they put clothes on the divas then wwe would lose a lot of male fans. That's a fact and everyone knows it. i could care less about TNA anyway its so effing boring I switched to the animal planet.
I hate TNA but i agree theyre better with women, wwe should make divas actuelly wrestle maybe even hardcore matches like tna, a bikini cntest everyonce in a while is ok but theres a limit

Skill, I don't want a dnag beauty pagent I wan't real women wrestler's serious competitors, no barbie doll rubbish. WWE really should because women's wrestling would gain more respect and taken alot more seriously
In a nutshell, yes they should. WWE gives women a bad name by pushing the beauties who have no skill instead of pushing the talented performers.
ye like Beth Phoenix is really good because of her strength and Mickie James and like even cause Maryse is rising shes still hot but WWE needs a mixture
Nobody will watch if it's about being athletic....especially the male fans

This confused the hell out of me. I thought it was his wife who kills him at first. Why does Colonel Fitts kill Lester at the end of American Beauty?
fitts is a strict disciplinarian, to the point of emotionally traumatising his wife and making his son take regular urine tests. he is clearly emotionally and sexually repressed, and is probably a homosexual. this goes against his being a former army man who is supposed to be manly and tough. so he sees his son with lester, and that time when he thinks his son is going down on lester makes him ashamed that he produced a gay son, but also he feels ashamed that he himself is probably gay. he admits as much when he sees lester working out and appears to be attracted to him. when lester rejects him, it is the ultimate humiliation, and so he punishes him for his own shame by killing himWhy does Colonel Fitts kill Lester at the end of American Beauty?
I think it's a combination of Fitts thinking Lester is gay and Lester rejecting fitts when he goes to kiss him but the main reason is cause Fitts has some deep psychological problems
because he thinks that he is paying his son for sexual favors. Remember when he was watching his son roll Lester a joint? It kind of looked like he was going down on good ol Lester....

    Best beauty tip...

Good posture. What are some great beauty tips?
I've read that safflower oil retains moisture the best. You could add some tea tree oil or something like that for fragrance.

    Oh, best beauty tip:

    sleep

    excersize

    healthy diet
    Deep condition hair with mayonnaise
beauty is from within remain positive and you will shine. Remember less is more.
My beauty tip for a beautiful skin is drink a lot of water!! sleep well and have fun, be happy!!!

    Easy!!
Hey I luv good beauty tips too...

and baby oil does make your skin softer but the downside is it makes you smell like baby oil which is a smell that reminds me too much of the doctors office for some reason...idk.

my favorite beauty tip is deep-conditioning hair. Just shampoo ur hair normally but then step out of the shower to condition. Put conditioner in your hair and let it sit in your hair for 15 minutes. Then wash it out and your hair will be soft, smooth, and not frizzy!

But I've tried doing stuff like using mayonnaise in my hair and all that and i've found it just makes my hair greasy, and it's not because i have oily hair. i dont. it just makes my hair reeeallly greasy so i wudent recommend it!

Now, here are some free tips!

    Eyeliner:

    How To Apply Eyeliner

    1. Liquid eyeliner should only be used above the top lashes. It is best to use a pencil or eyeshadow under the lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, use a colored kohl pencil above and below lashes and follow with a black liquid liner on the top. It will make your lashes appear darker and will stay on all day. A dark eye-liner highlights the shape of your eyes and deepens the look. Softly line with eyeliner pencil, draw a thin line along lashes next to roots.

For a dramatic look, lightly dot color along the lower lashes. For softness, line can be smudged with fingertip or Q-tip.

    ------------------------------

    2. Eyeliner should be applied close to the base of the eyelashes. Products vary from cake to liquid liner to pencil. Practice makes perfect in achieving a fine line. Hold your head back and look down into the mirror. The eyelid will be tight and it will be easier to apply the liner. Smudge if necessary.

    ------------------------------

    3. Don麓t apply eyeliner in a thick line. It looks harsh and makes the eye appear heavy and tired. Get out of the 60麓s and instead use a fine line. If you have trouble, use a brush to blend and smooth it out.

    ------------------------------

    4. By using a line under the lower lashes gives the illusion of making the eyes appear larger. Instead of using a pencil, try using a small makeup brush with a dark eyeshadow. Apply into the lashes to make the lashes appear darker. Below this line apply a highlighter eyeshadow (in white, beige or yellow) in a fine line with a cleansed small brush. This will brighten the eye area.

    ------------------------------

    5. There are pencil eyeliners, liquid eyeliner, and cake eyeliners. Pencil liners can be used above top lashes and under lower lashes. Liquid liners should only be used on the top lid. Cake eyeliners are used with water and can be used both top and bottom.

    ------------------------------

    6. A smoky violet pencil looks best for someone with green eyes. On the color wheel, green and violet are opposite, and so they look well together. Also, look at nature when deciding on a color palette. Green, burnt orange and beige can be found in a field of autumn colors.

    ------------------------------

    7. If you want to use the same liner pencil for eyes and lips I would recommend using an eyeliner pencil. Then you know this is safe for the eyes. Choose a shade that is a red-brown or a plum-brown. Then it will compliment your lipstick.

    ------------------------------

    8. A liquid eyeliner or a cake eyeliner that you use with a fine brush will stay on the best. If you don麓t feel adept at using these, pencils work well also. Pencils can be smudged for a subtle look. Always hold your head back, look down into the mirror, and apply your eyeliner. This will keep your eyelid skin tight and you can make a smooth line.

    ------------------------------

    Mascara:

Tip #1: How to use a lash comb. For some, lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some makeup artists, they're a great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly separated. So how to use? Apply mascara at the lash base. Then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand. Wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates blobs BEFORE you start.

Tip #2: Try a clean mascara wand. Sweep a clean, fresh mascara wand through lashes when they're wet. Don't worry, you don't have to buy them.

When you finish a mascara, clean the wand in a capful of eye makeup remover, then wash with soap and dry. Keep it clean by washing it whenever you wash your makeup tools.

Tip #3: Don't shy away from colored mascara. Basic mascara rules are simple: Black works for everyone but can be harsh on blondes. Blondes should opt for brown/black by day and reserve black for night. Blue mascara, however, can brighten blue eyes while purple mascara makes brown eyes pop. The most popular mascara sold in the US is Maybelline Great Lash mascara, a great buy at under $6. The company estimates one tube is sold every 1.6 seconds in the U.S.

Tip #4: When applying mascara, wiggle the wand at the base of the lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots (not the tips) that gives the illusion of length.

Tip #5: Thin, short brushes are best. A thinner brush allows you to get into the corner of eyes. Short brushes give you more control.

Tip #6: Give a few coats to the edges by blinking. Blink onto the brush to give ends an extra coat.

Tip #7: Powder under the eye before applying mascara. Sometimes mascara smudges because it's attracted to oily concealer or eye creams.

Tip #8: Use an eyelash curler Curling lashes gives eyes the appearance of being wider and brighter. Shoot warm air from your blowdryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm it up before curling lashes. Touch it first to make sure it's not too hot. It's a myth that you have to curl lashes before you apply mascara. You can curl lashes after mascara application, just make sure the mascara is dry first. Shu Uemura makes the most popular eyelash curler on the market ($18-$22).

Tip #9: Zig-zag the wand. Zig-zagging the wand back and forth during application helps cut down clumps.

Tip #10: For a dramatic look, apply mascara only to the upper lashes. To make eyes seem wider, apply to the bottom, too. But make sure you give lashes a light touch. Not great at getting those bottom lashes? Try putting a tissue under them before application.

Tip #11: Use a mascara primer. Primers coat lashes and separate them before you apply mascara. Makeup artists swear by mascara primer. I tried it and like it, but because it's an added step, I usually use primer only on special occasion when I spend more time on my makeup.

Tip #12: Want that 2nd coat? Just make sure to do it before the first coat dries, otherwise you'll get clumps.

Tip #13: Do NOT pump wand in and out of the tube. This only introduces air into the tube, which will cause your mascara to dry out sooner than it should.

Tip #14: Another smudge-proof tip -- bend the wand. A top makeup artist once gave his secret to his steady hand: he always bends his wand at a right angle.

Tip #15: Wait five seconds before blinking. You don't want to paint your lids, do you?

    Bronzer:

    1. Pressed Powder Bronzer Use a pressed powder bronzer for a lightly-toasted look. Wet the powder bronzer and it transforms into a sheer cream that glides on to add intense color to eyes, lips, and face. For a sun-kissed sheen, dab a small bit of bronzer powder on your forehead, chin and nose. Make sure it doesn't look like a stripe. You can also apply a bronzer to your shoulders and neckline to warm up your skin and enhance a tan. Bronzers are perfect for year-round sun-kissed radiance. Some bronzers have a herbal or floral scent and a light sunscreen.

    ------------------------------

    2. Sunless Tanner and Bronzer Get a healthy-looking glow instantly with a sunless tanner and bronzer. A sheer bronzer provides a hint of immediate, temporary, natural--looking color. A good bronzer allows you to see where you've applied it to help eliminate mistakes. A sunless tanner and bronzer looks and fades like a real tan. Some bronzers are oil-free and absorb and dry in less than 5 minutes.

    ------------------------------

    3. Deep Tanning Bronzer Some bronzers instantly provide a deep, rich, robust tan. These bronzers are designed for people who want to darken their existing tan dramatically and contain coffee bean extracts. A good bronzer contains triclosan to help eliminate bacteria that can cause after-tanning odor. Quality bronzers are enriched with Vitamins E and C to help minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Some bronzers contain sunscreens.

    ------------------------------

    4. Aerosol Bronzers Bronzers come in pressed powder, liquid or aerosol form. An aerosol bronzer is lightweight and oil free, contains vitamins and botanicals, and can be applied over foundation or used alone. An aerosol bronzer can create an instant airbrushed radiance.

    ------------------------------

    5. A fresh and natural look in makeup would be wearing a tinted moisturizing cream, a light blush or bronzer for your cheeks, a light coating of mascara and lipgloss. Let your natural beauty show through!

    ------------------------------

    6. Bronzer Tanning Lotion Bronzers are an excellent makeup tool for women on the go. Apply a bronzer tanning lotion sparingly around hairline and eyebrows. Wash the bronzer off your hands with soap and water immediately and avoid contact with clothing until the bronzer is dry. Wait one hour before bathing or swimming. A sunless tan develops in two to four hours and lasts for days. Reapply the bronzer as needed to maintain or deepen color. Some bronzers come in SPF 20.

    ------------------------------

Brush On Bronzing Powder - With a circular motion, lightly coat the brush end with bronzing powder.

Cheekbone Using a circular motion, start powder application on the cheek apple and brush on bronzing powder back to meet the hairline. (Smile while applying; this brings out the cheek shape for easier application). Reapply to create stronger color intensity and cheekbone shaping.

Jawline Using a circular motion, apply bronzing powder onto jaw line and brush down below chin. This effect defines the jawbone for a stronger facial profile and defined chin shape.

Forehead Using a circular motion, apply bronzing powder above eyebrow and gently brush outward on forehead down onto temple area. Apply over both eyebrows. This effect provides contour for a stronger facial profile and shape.

Nose and Lip Using the brush side, brush down lightly applying bronzer to each side of the nose and under the lower lip. This effect will thin the nose shape and make the lips appear larger.

    Foundation:

Begin with clean hands and a clean face

Apply a moisturizing sunscreen that's perfect for your skin type. All foundations will go on more smoothly if the skin is well-hydrated.

Let the moisturizer set for a few minutes.

Wipe off any excess moisturizer with a tissue. Greasy skin will make the foundation slip and slide.

Camouflouge your dark, under-eye circleswith a concealer.

Using a makeup sponge or the tips of your fingers, apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose.

Using the sponge or your fingertips, blend the dots together. Pay special attention to your hairline and jawline to ensure there's no obvious line where the foundation abruptly stops.

Set the foundation with loose powder immediately after application.

    Tips:

You don't have to put foundation all over your face. Try spot-fixes for those areas that need coverage (likely around your eyes %26amp; nose %26amp; on your chin).

Don't want to go all out with a foundation? Tinted moisturizers may be all you need if your complexion is dewy, but you want a light, sheer wash to even out blotchiness. My favorite tinted moisturizer is by Bobbi Brown.

The tips of your fingers work well, but I like to use a sponge. Make sure %26amp; wash out the sponge well so it doesn't start harboring all sorts of nasty bacteria. These Wonderpro sponges are cheap %26amp; work perfectly.

    Lipgloss:

Lip gloss and lip shine comes in tubes and pots that are convenient to use and give a shimmer and shine to your lips that you have always wished for. They can last for long periods of time and can be water-resistant. They can be applied either over the lipstick or alone for a more natural and nude lip look. Lip-gloss helps to add more volume to your lips and make them look fuller and highlight them on the face. Thus, women with thick lips are generally advised to use it very sparingly. One can effectively make the lips look more beautiful with the help of lip gloss and other lip products and use it strategically for lip correction. A light film of Chapstick over lips not only protect them and heal them but also helps the lip color to set more effectively.

Similarly, dusting the lips with powder can make the lip color and gloss last longer and do not melt easily. In fact the best method to use lip color for long periods of time is to color your lips, blot off the extra color using the tissue paper, apply thin layer of powder on them, again apply a second coat of color and complete the process by applying lip gloss to make your ships look shinier than ever. While you can add the shine to your lips by applying gloss on them or above the lipstick, you can also tone down the shine by application of too much gloss, hold a single-ply tissue against your lips and press little loose powder through it. Only a bit of it will get sifted through it and will instantly reduce the shine. Lip lacquer gives a greater shine to your lips for stage shows and extremely glamorous look.

Lip-gloss directed to the center of the mouth makes your lips look fuller while you can avoid matte lipsticks from drying and flaking by using a lip primer or color fixative before applying it. Special effects and highlights can be achieved by using sheer silver, gold or iridescent lip gloss over lip color. For evening special effects, apply a sheer lip-gloss in silver, gold or an iridescent shade over the lip color. Vitamin E is good for lips to give them a natural glow while lip balm must be applied before applying lipstick to keep your lips moisturized, nourished and naturally rosy. It also prevents the lips from drying and developing of cracks. Lip gloss add the emphasis to the lips but smooth lips make it easier to glide on and lip gloss lasts longer on them. Even, if you are opting for a matte lip color; apply the lip balm before applying lipstick. Use creamy lipsticks for daily use to keep the lips moisturized and add an intense wet look with the help of lip gloss while transforming your makeup from daytime look to a night party look.

    Lipstick:

Tip #1: Lipstick done? You might notice there's still a bit of lipstick down in the tube. Scrape out the last bits with a cotton swap or orange stick %26amp; mix it with Vaseline or lip gloss in a lipstick palette. Use a lip brush to apply.

Tip #2: Never use a test lipstick on your lips. It's just plain unhygienic. Instead, test lipstick on your fingertips. It's a closer fit to your lips than the back of your hand.

Tip #3: Use liner on your lips as a base. Lipstick will last longer if you fill in your lips with the liner first. If you're using light lipstick, try a nude liner. Then slick your lipstick on top.

Tip #4: Never use a dark liner with light lipstick. Defined lips are great, but make sure the liner matches the lipstick or gloss. Dark liner and light lips is tacky.

Tip #5: Keep lipstick off your teeth with this trick. This is a trick I learned years ago from my mom. After applying lipstick, take your index finger and pop it in your mouth, then pull it out. The excess lipstick will come off on your finger rather than your teeth.

Tip #6: Lipstick can act as a blush. But never use blush as a lipstick.

Tip #7: Youcan line before or after you apply lipstick or gloss. Some women prefer to apply liner first, arguing that you won't be able to see the natural line of your lips if you apply lipstick first. But I find lips look more natural when I line lips after I apply lipstick.

Tip #8: The older you are, the 'creamier' your lips should look. Women over 50 should avoid matte or a gloss and stick with a creamy lipstick.

Tip #9: Don't throw out a bad color lipstick. Beauty editors know you can create a great lipcolor by blending lipsticks you don't like. You can also color in lips with a darker liner before applying a lipstick that's too bright.

Tip #10: For 'plump' lips, apply liner just outside your natural lipline. Dab a bit of gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.

Tip #11: Keep lip gloss on longer with liner. Lip gloss is infamous for wearing off fast, but if you fill in lips first with the liner, the gloss has something to stick to.

Tip #12: Heal -- don't throw out -- a broken lipstick. If your lipstick breaks off, simply take off the broken portion with a tissue, then slowly wave a lit match under the broken piece of lipstick. When it's melted a bit, put it back on the base, swivel it down and put it in the fridge -- uncovered -- for 30 minutes.

Tip #13: Avoid orange or brown shades, including corals. They tend to make teeth appear yellow.

Tip #14: Camouflage yellowed teeth. To downplay a yellow cast to teeth, try lipsticks with a bluish undertone. Shades that work include plums, pinks, wines and violets, according to Lazarus, a NYC makeup artist, in the June, 2007, issue of O magazine.

Tip #15: Keep lipstick off glass. Discreetly lick the lip of the glass before touching your lips to it. It works!

Tip #16: Experiment with blending lipsticks and glosses. Real lipstick aficionados create their own lipstick shades by blending different color and even formulations. You can start with a matte lipstick, follow with a shimmery shade and cap it off with a colored gloss.

    Eyeshadow:

    http://www.expertvillage.com/video-serie鈥?/a>

These eye shadow tips will help you figure out the shape of your eyelid so your eye make up application can enhance your natural beauty. The shape of your eyes and eyelids determine which part of the eye area you need to shade or highlight.

Something that everyone can do regardless of eyelid shape is to apply high lighter to the brow bone (above the eyelid and below the eyebrow). Now, the amount of visible eyelid will determine if you need to highlight your eyelid or apply eye shadow to shade it.

If you are not sure about your eyelid size, go to the nearest mirror and take a good look at it. Is it puffy or just right?! Make sure you are looking at yourself squarely and not at an angle. Then come back and compare with the pictures below

Applying Eye Shadow Tips to Shade and Highlight...

    Prominent Eyelid

If you have this eyelid you want to make the eyelid look smaller and thinner. So shade the eyelid and the crease of the eye and highlight only below the eyebrow, not the eyelid.

    Hooded Eyelid

With this type you want to make it look like there is more eyelid. Apply high lighter on the eyelid to make it look larger. Shade the crease of the eye only and spread the eye shadow outwards to join the corners of the eye.

    Deep Set Eyes

This is the most versatile shape because you can either highlight or shade the eyelid (of course, you don't want to do both at the same time ;-). Make sure you shade the crease of the eye and apply high lighter just under the eyebrow.

    Smokey Eye:

    Here's How:

Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called ';primer';). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.

Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.

Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to ';smudge it.'; You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.

Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist ';mousse'; consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.

Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.

Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.

Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara. Tried and true mascaras (featured in ';Elle'; magazine's March 2006 issue) include DiorShow Mascara %26amp; L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara. Elle's writer says they are the best volumizers she's tried.

    Tips:

Remember to keep lips nude. When applying strong makeup (like smoky eyes or red lips) put the focus on either eyes or lips, never both. (Think Angelina Jolie: She either plays up her huge eyes or her huge lips, never both. If she did, she'd look like a clown).

    For a bit of fun, try a blue or purple mascara. It will make blue eyes ';pop.';

Liner doesn't have to come in pencil form. Makeup experts know eyeshadows make some of the best eyeliners. To do this take an eyeliner brush (available at Sephora, MAC or any dept store), wet it, then dab wet brush into the dark shadow. This allows for a deep, precise line. You can also use the dark shadows without wetting brush first. Either way, eyeliner is necessary for smoky eye.

This season go jewel-toned (blue is great for you blue-eyed girls) and keep your eyes smoky but stay away from dark browns and black. Instead, go for a deep purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vibrant colors in this year.

    What You Need:

Eye primer (you don't need it, but it's great for keeping shadow in place)

2 Shadows: One light, one darker

    Eyeliner

    Makeup brushes

    Mascara

Why are they called Beauty Pageants when all they seem to do is bring out ugliness?

I watched a documentary recently about the Beauty Pageant scene in the US.

Couldn't believe what I was seeing with all the bitchiness and catfights and buckets of money spent! Why are they called Beauty Pageants when all they seem to do is bring out ugliness?
They should be called the makeup beauty pageants. I seen a documentary a couple years ago and i know what you are saying i could not believe how them women would fight with one another and the money was threw the roof. they should take that money they spend for them dam pageants and help charities. the plastic surgeons are making enough money from them women. have you seen some of them without makeup.. gosh i look better first thing in the morning then most of them do in the evening with no makeup. Another thing i do not agree with is them kid pageants either..if they are going to put them little girls as well as them old girls in pageants they should be natural beauty not makeup and hair spray and god only knows what else they are doing to look that good.

They should make beauty pageants for inner beauty they get them women oh I'm going to do this and that but when they are back stage out comes the claws! the ugly person inside shows and makeup can not cover a person ugly inside! Why are they called Beauty Pageants when all they seem to do is bring out ugliness?
...no idea... it is weird though, you have a very good point

Does anyone have good beauty/confidence tips?

Hey everyone... i was just wondering if anyone had any good beauty tips or like confidence tips? sometimes i feel really ugly for just like certain reasons about me and i guess confidence relates to beauty because i have heard if your confident it makes you look even prettyerDoes anyone have good beauty/confidence tips?
Be confident about your looks because you cannot change them.

You're always beautiful naturally just the way you are.

Don't change! Be your unique self.

Imagine, if everyone in the world looked the same, wouldn't it be a boring world.

You Are Beautiful Just The Way You Are!

There will always be a guy for a girl and a girl for a guy. You'll find the special HIM at the right time, he will think you're the most beautiful thing in the world!Does anyone have good beauty/confidence tips?
seventeen.com has soooo many beauty ideas and their magazine also talks about confidence and stuff. i would reccomend that.... just go on their website and click health and beauty i think and you'll get lots of cool ideas for makeup and hair... it gives me confidence sometimes because i love trying new hair and makeup style. :)

    hope i helped good luck!
Eye liner helped me out , but you have to learn how to put it just right . For liquid eye liner , you can't put too much because then it'll just look like you have 2 black eyes.

Or maybe you need some proactive?

Also try doing your hair a different style.

Or get a new piercing , update your clothing line?
yup dont slouch you look alot more confident and you look alot better that way look at evry1 else and dont think of what they have that you dont think of what you have that they dont and personality always be funny nice and approachable it wil make a big difference:) x
hey :) ..honestly sometimes i feel very pretty one day and blaa the next but im not sure if your a makeup kinda girl but if u invest in good makeup products like revlon and look on their website for tips you will feel good knowing the makeup makes you ever prettier.
U just ave to think that u r pretty. this is not an easy thing but the easiest way to acheive it is by trying out a new look. buy a new out fit at the mall. take extra long to do ur hair and other stuff and see how u feel!!! i hope u feel like U R THE MOST PRETTIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD!!!!! :-)
Find one thing about your self you love and when you start to feel badly think about that the thing you like about yourself. Don't lets any ones opinion get you down I'm sure you are a smart beautiful person.
just be your self. you can look like the stupidest person in the room, but if you carry yourself like you don't care and you meant to do it.... (be yourself) then its not an issue
Plenty of make up tips on here! http://www.youtube.com/user/xsparkage

  • I really do believe Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Do you agree?

My celebrity look alike I can see looking like them, and also What others see. It's scary cause when ppl say I look like so and so I think about it, then when I do see the resemblence, I think to myself how can this person see, it and another person sees something way diffrent, but I have many face to others and to myself. Why is it like that?I really do believe Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Do you agree?
Until people have more experiences, they are limited to the experiences that they do have and can get stuck in a narrow view of life, not seeing, really seeing life anymore. Everyday you walk out the door, everything is different; you, a smell, a bird, a flower, but we miss the childish joy of seeing things for the first time, because we think, ';Oh the same old boring thing.'; Having eyes we see not and having ears we hear not. Jaded, dull, boring. Not me! OK, so maybe me too.I really do believe Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Do you agree?
Maybe the beauty of another person is in the eye of the beholder,

but for yourself, u must feel yourself beautiful to look beautiful,

beauty is a feeling u must transcend to look beautiful
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

Say, one guy finds winter beautiful,

and another guy thinks its hideous.

Beauty, is all about how you see the world and people, and how they make you feel.
Sometimes. But people cannot literally behold themselves. And some find themselves beautiful.

So it is somewhat of an understatement.
Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder but ugly goes all the way to the bone.
God made it so but included all that was created. Cosmetics and Lipstick not included
    No.
    yes

A great and terrible beauty- how did you picture the characters?

post links to pictures of gemma, felicity, ann, pippa, simon, and kartik how you pictured them- age doesn't matter

well I didn't picture them as like distinct people but I'll try to find a picture that matches good.

Kartik- This isn't a good picture of him, but i always pictured him looking like an older Jake Bahari from unfabulous.

    http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg137…

I've never seen people who i thought the other characters looked like. On imdb.com, all the people suggested to play them in the movie are way older than i pictured them. A lot of people said that Lucas Grabiel would be a good Tom, and at first i was like no way!. But now that idea is kind of growing on me.

Can you recommend some beauty/hygiene products WITHOUT all those toxic ingredients?

If you care about what you put on your skin every day, you'll know what I mean! Thanks =DCan you recommend some beauty/hygiene products WITHOUT all those toxic ingredients?
I use Pure %26amp; Natural products (www.pure-natural.com). I love the almond oil and cherry blossom body wash.

    98% natural origin

    Hypoallergenic

    Biodegradable formula

    Recyclable packaging

    Not tested on animals

    Paraben free

Also, Burt's Bees is Earth friendly natural personal care. (www.burtsbees.com)Can you recommend some beauty/hygiene products WITHOUT all those toxic ingredients?
Buy some 100% aloe. Basic shampoos are bbest since the ingredients in all shampoos are essentially the same few chemicals with a few chemical fragrances added. Some of the old standards like baby oil, baby powder, petroleum jelly and such are simply better than all this marketed gunk that contains who knows what.
Alba is kind of nice! I have been using their face wash for years and love it! What you really want to watch for are the parabynes...(no idea how to spell that)
Himalaya Herbals : ) They're really good for sensitive skin and everyday use, being mostly natural.

They have a wide variety of bath %26amp; beauty products.

Will the broadway musical Beauty and the Beast ever be shown again on stage?

I'm pretty sure it's still showing at one of the parks at Disney World. It'll most likely be revived in at least 10 (maybe more) years. Will the broadway musical Beauty and the Beast ever be shown again on stage?
Beauty and the Beast will definitely show up on stage sooner than you think. Broadway musical are circulated constantly and even if its not in NY it will be somewhere. Most of the Disney shows will circulate at their anniversary. If Beauty and the BEast has a major anniversary coming up you can bet it'll take a tour. Will the broadway musical Beauty and the Beast ever be shown again on stage?
It'll likely tour. The rights are also available, so community/regional theaters can put the show on.

I wouldn't expect it to be back on Broadway for some time. ';The Little Mermaid'; will likely run for several years, and apparently there's an unspoken ';one Disney princess on Broadway'; rule. I would expect ';Aladdin'; after ';Mermaid'; closes.

What the heck is ';beauty?'; a stupid definiton?

Maybe I'm just a bad girl but I think the whole definition of beauty is bullshit. I mean, isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder. Therefore, since someone who looks completely beautiful in one's eye can look hideous in someone else's. Even in time period, some women in the 1920s could be completely revolting in today's society and visa versa...

any thoughts? What the heck is ';beauty?'; a stupid definiton?
I totally agree. Beauty is not necessarily something you see. What if you are blind? I do believe beauty can be heard, in a person's voice by a blind person. It can be transmitted by touching, and felt by being touched. It can be done as an act of selflessness by someone unseen to people they have never met. Yes honey you are 100% spot on there. Too much emphasis on the LOOK BEAUTIFUL today. I know a young lad who has a hideously disfigured face, has been like it from birth but do you know, if you look beyond that %26amp; into his heart as I do, you will see no greater beauty. What the heck is ';beauty?'; a stupid definiton?
yes. my eye beholds you as HOT!
i totally agree. beauty is in the eye of the beholder... But in today's society it's more like skinny, silky hair, tall and wide eye's... in other words ME.

Hey i don't make the rules.
For the most part, there are trade-offs in life.

    Everyone anytime is beautiful.

    How's that?
In different eyes beauty is the quality that give pleasure to the senses.
Beauty is a perception in how you see yourself and others. All it is really how you want to see it. If you want to see it beautiful, it is beautiful.
Yah, you are right. In their day, the stars of the 20's and 30's were as you may notice, not very pretty in todays standard of the word. They were flat chested, heavy on the makeup the hairdo's were really really bad and yet, in their day they were top rate on beauty and on acting........

Beauty is definetly in the eyes of the beholder. One man can think Cher is gorgeous, and Barbara STriesand, but another can be absolutely revolted by the size of the nose or the length of the legs.....................

Beauty is what's under the surface, in the long end.......and hopefully that is what most men look for, beneath the surface.

I look at it this way, let's say a man and woman marries and she is the most gorgeous thing on earth, the true test will come if that woman is lets say in a horrible accident and her face is unrepairable and body too.............will he stay beause he knows the beauty within? Or will he leave because that beauty on the surface is now gone forever................food for thought ugh?
For me, I see personality through to the outside to see how beautiful someone is.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however physical beauty fades. People who are beautiful on the inside will always shine and there beauty will translate to many different types of people.

Why is it said ';beauty is only skin deep.';?

What about the people who have beautiful hearts and souls as well? Why is it said ';beauty is only skin deep.';?
';Beauty is only skin deep'; means that just because a person may be very attractive on the outside, it does not necessarily mean that she/he is beautiful on the inside as well. The warning is often used by parents to remind their children to judge and choose their friends and mates by qualities that are more meaningful than surface beauty. Why is it said ';beauty is only skin deep.';?
Because it wouldn't be fair for someone to be good-looking AND a nice person!
you ought to watch American Beauty, the movie.
Now let's see! Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, period end of story!
I think this saying is akin to the one, ';Don't judge a book by it's cover.'; It's a gentle reminder, that one, all that glitters is not gold, and two, you should always look deeper than the surface. Sometimes it's not instantly obvious, the beauty of a person's heart and soul, but you should always be willing to look for it, less you find that others are less willing to look at yours!

    Bliss
I think it is because you can be beauthiful on the outside, but it doesn't show

what the person is really like. That beauty could only be skin deep, but inside that person is not ';beautiful';. Of course the saying does not hold true for everyone, because there are a lot of people who are beautiful on the inside.
You just answered your own question.
raw flesh, blood and veins. all that pulseing visable.

yeh, kind heartedness is much better.
we dont care about those people, we just want some fine azz women, lol j/k..no i'm not
Beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes straight to the bone.

    What makes us appreciate beauty?

I mean from a chemical and biological standpoint. What happens in our brain that we react to something as being beautiful or not. Do we base it on memories, on smells, on wavelengths, colors, what? And is it like being in love, which is basically a large quanitity of dopamine? What makes us appreciate beauty?
Recent brain studies have shown that even very young babies react to beautiful faces. It is thus assumed we are hard-wired in part to appreciate beauty, which is generally based on symmetry and balance. Perhaps it has become a matter of evolution: highly symmetrical bodies/faces tend to be healthy ones. Another study has looked at athletes and found that most are what we would consider attractive-looking. So, beauty=health? I want to mate with a beautiful specimen, because that implies our offspring will be healthier than with an ugly mate?

What happens in our brain is a question that has yet to be answered fully. In the infant studies, they were looking at pictures, so smell or wavelengths or memories did not enter in to the response. Our brain does react with a hormonal response to beauty. Ever notice your heart beating faster when you see someone attractive looking at you? And, yes. We do sort of fall in love with a pretty face. That's why most soap-opera stars are full-on 10's, and most female movie stars are fabulously good-looking. We can't keep our eyes off them. What makes us appreciate beauty?
Isn't it the golden ratio the baseline of all beauties-1:1.618? If that is the case, than we some how mathematically intrigue ourselves. Is that still chemical reaction?

What do you believe beauty to be?

What do you guys think is true beauty or ';beautiful';? This girl walks up to me and told me I looked beautiful, but however she has blonde hair and blue eyed and is a little shaped like Pamela Anderson (the upper portion). I don't know how to take a compliment well because I been made to think lesser of myself. What do you think? What do you believe beauty to be?
Beauty is the eye of the beholder. She could have meant you looked beautiful in what you were wearing. She could have meant you were beautiful who cares take that compliment and be happy that someone out there sees in you what all us parents see in our children,a beautiful person. Never and i mean never think less of yourself. We all are beautiful in our own way. Hold you head up high and walk proud till the next time then and even then say thank you and with your head up keep on walking! What do you believe beauty to be?
thts hard. everyone thinks beauty is different. for example, some of my friends say im a natural beauty( no make-up, nothing) while others say i look beautiful with a bit of make-up. so everyone's opinion is different.
No I am not a guy ,but I think you should take that greatly . I mean if someone I didnt even know told me that I think it would make my day. But thats just me . Because that was very thoughtful of someone to just do that when they could make thereself feel better they made someone else feel better, you =]
All I have to do is look in the mirror to know what true beauty is.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

What do you think about scene kids? individuals or fake beauty?

if you like them post a pic of who you thinks the best?

bored as!What do you think about scene kids? individuals or fake beauty?
';scene'; kids.. its as if they all wanted to be different and stylish, but they all went the same way and ended up looking the same.

Fake beauty, like page 3? stop the air brushing, if your face starts to crumble when you stick your finger on it, lose half the make up atleast. I don't like dressing myself up fake, but that's because i'd feel more confident if i hadn't cheated into people thinking i look like that all the time. So if someone feels more confident spending hours on themselves before going out, im ok with that. It's just loooong! I knew a girl who took an hour to get ready before popping to the corner shop for milk in the evening, to put fake tan all over her fake boobs, style her extensions and fake nails! but some guys like that style. What do you think about scene kids? individuals or fake beauty?
to be honest some ppl refer me to scen/emo but if ya look at ma pic i look nout like them (maybe cuz i avn't done ma hair and eyeliner ) i hate the ones who look the same grrrrrr thaey r scene more like internet whores Aba D is right but i wear simular clothes but done die ma hair and thick make-up Report Abuse

    Scene Kids should gtfo.

At first, when there weren't so many, I liked it, I thought they looked real pretty and had amazing fashion sense...

But then I realised, their pictures a photoshopped a lot, and they were a ton of makeup.

Some even photoshop their piercings and hair. What posers.

The take their pictures at ridiculous angles, because any picture taken at a normal angle would look hideous.

    They all look like clones.

And their all fake, every single one of them would have asked a questions along the lines of...

    ';How do I get my hair like Oli Sykes';

    ';How do I get scene hair';

    ';What do scene kids listen to';

    blah blah, freaking blah.

I'm sick of seeing them every where I go.

They are no individuals, or original.

    That I'm sorry to say, is impossible to achieve. %26gt;_%26lt;
Scene is just a style, usually they have a creative nature, are naturally arty and like to express themselves in ther style.

I love scene kids, emos, goths, moshers, indie, new rave.

Its almost like ther all in tribes.

    x
They're not Individuals at all! 'scene' is not unique... step out into your local town or city on the weekend and see how many goths, emo's, scene and god knows what else is out there

    it's just another teen craze!

the most 'unique' ppl out there are the ones that dress and act as they normally would, not following everyone else and trying to look cool for ppl...
    Haha.

    Scene is so passe.

Everyone i've scene who declared their sceneness or like, talks about it are like, first generation scene and that is so ickkky.

Its about time to grow out of it.

And they're not individual. How many people ask for scene tips? Individual doesn't have tips.

Anyways. Clint Reckless was my fav. Total babe.

hmm. could be pretty if any of them would take the time to develop some sort of make up and hair skills rather then just slopping anything bright on their faces. and all of the piled on raccoon extensions have got to go.
    Fake.

    Untalented.

    Uncreative.

    No personality.

    Insecure.

    Yes, I don't like them.
i think it started as individuality but now everyones doin it gettin their monroes done, bleache blonde hair, sailors stuff etc...

kinda like emo, just went s**t
they are as individual as the rest of the scene kids.
Well...i like the style i mean what they wear and stuff but sometimes its abit too much...and alot are posers..so i guess it's..i dunno wierd and unatural...really but soem look cute i guess
    individuals
Well, I know a lot of ';them'; and they're all pretty amazing. I'm not scene myself, but I have nothing against them. =)
FAKE AS SHEEP! Individual...u gotta be having a laugh!
a bunch of stupid kids who think there individuals but they all look the same they will get over it as soon as they realize no one is buying it
    were better than winy emo's

    hahah
yea wat is a scene kid? lol
    were sexy =0
idk i just really hate when i see a fat one.......

What was the best beauty product you have ever used and why was it so great?

also what was the price (if available)What was the best beauty product you have ever used and why was it so great?
Biosilk silk therapy. I have horrible split ends, and after using this stuff it completely changed my hair it was amazing. But when I don't use it, it goes back to being dry and brittle.

Its 12 dollars for a small bottle but I got it for free from my little cousin who didn't want it hah. What was the best beauty product you have ever used and why was it so great?
The best beautification product is St. Ives Appricot Scrub. It works great. If start to see bumps or anything on your face that isn't suppose to be there, the scrub takes it right away. It's an exfoliater. I paid about $5.00 for it.
neutrugena facial mask. it is so great cause it made my face cleared up and the mask takes around 3 min. to work.
Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner. I have never had such healthy hair. It wasn't expensive at all! It is about $4 each. It works better when you actually get out in the sun or blowdry it. It is made to keep your hair healthy while still being able to do everything you need to do throughout the day!
    Hmm..

Loreal infallilable foundation. It lasts all day.. even when you sweat. about $12 in drugstores

ponds cold cream.. i used to think it was only for old ladies, but it leaves my skin soooo soft and it doesnt make my face breakout.

    about $4 in drugstores

jordache self sharpening eyeliner.. it didn't run or smudge.

$2 in drugstores..unfourtunatly the company went out of business but loreal has an eyeliner that id about the same..$8 drugstores

How do you make your face paler (on purpose, for beauty)?

lemon, or if your skin gets itchy while doing that 2 part milk (or cream) and one part lemon mixture

    or whitening products

sun-block...applied to your face under light foundation/powderHow do you make your face paler (on purpose, for beauty)?
the quickest was would be to use a product containing hydroquinone. the over the counter strength is 2% %26amp; prescription is 4%. this product decreases production of melanin which is the dark pigment in your skin. you must use it all over the area you want to fade. also, you MUST use a sunscreen over this area daily as the sun stimulates melanin production. one day w/o sunscreen %26amp; your skin will start getting brown again.

I love to get my nails done and I also like to get my hair done. I am such a girlie-girl and I changed my hair olor like 5 times. I got brown to blond to red to strawberry blonde back to my original hair color.
the fresh smell of hair, can u smell it? i can smell it now, must go!

Beauty is skin deep, ugly is to the bonesWhy are they called Beauty Pageants when all they seem to do is bring out ugliness?
Because this world is full of materialistic Hollywood wanna be's. Please. It's like pre-stripper training.
    that,s hollywood. ///

Do you think child beauty pageants are a good thing?

I watched one on t.v. and was appalled. I think it was too much pressure for the kids, and what business does a 5 year old have prancing around in a 2 piece with tons of make-up for all to see????Do you think child beauty pageants are a good thing?
Why are you asking a question when you already have a biased opinion? It's obvious that you're not looking for an answer. Is your real-life social circle really so small that you need to come on Yahoo! Answers to find people to validate your opinions?

Maybe beauty pageants would have done you a world of good. You might have learned to be more outgoing.

For the record, I competed in beauty pageants until I was seven, got bored, quit until I was sixteen, and have been competing for the past five years. The only men I have ever seen at a pageant are fathers, brothers (always younger brothers), and the occasional gay director or coach. Pageants have done nothing but good things for me, have pushed me to achieve a lot in my undergraduate career, and will continue to push me as I work for my PhD.

So I suppose my answer to your ';question'; would be that.. No, I do not feel that a child should be forced into beauty pageants. In my many years competing, I have never seen this happen, but I know that the media somehow manages to find the minute minority of pageant mothers that force their daughters to compete. Unfortunately, there are also fathers who force their sons to compete in sports, among many other similar situations.

ALL of the children I have seen competing love it. I have even seen children begging their parents to let them do another pageant when their mothers refuse because they fear overworking their precious little girl.

I loved dressing up as a child, but I never wore ';tons'; of makeup. I wore a little lipstick, a little blush, and some mascara. In MANY pageants with younger age divisions, children under the age of 12 or 13 are not allowed to wear ANY makeup. If anything, this is more conservative than real life. Walk into a middle school and count the number of girls wearing makeup.

Enjoy propagating an untrue, negative stereotype.Do you think child beauty pageants are a good thing?
Five years old shouldn't be bombarded with the pressure of being ';pretty'; and all the other pressures that come along with pageants. I saw a show were a women was justifing he reasons for putting her child in beauty pageants, she said that it brought her and her daughter together. Why go such great lengths in to being together? You can do much more simpler and safer things at home.
i agree too it puts pressure on the poor kids they're put on the spot and if they don't win they feel like'' Why didn't i win ';.and then the child becomes more competitive and feel that they need too win or they put their family down and their selves down and then they compete until they win!!!!!
    I completely agree with you!

People need to learn that fame and beauty are far from the most important things in life!

Let kids be kids and grow up and do what they want to do, not what their parent's dream for them is!

And yes, the 2 pieces and make-up are very inappropriate.

    Interesting question!
yeah maybe if they didn't try to dress them like women it would be kinda cute but those little girls wear more makeup than i do and some dont even look that age! i dont think its good the way they go about it. like i said maybe if they just let the little girls BE little girls then it would be cute to see them! but yeah its too much pressure for a kid!

    P.S

and i'm about to have a daughter and i would NEVER dress her up dress like they dress them, and you know there is some SICK MEN out there! i'd never do that to my kid!
    I agree with you 100%!

I actually asked this same question before.

I think it's sad for a parent to have their child believing at even such a young age beauty is so vital. At that age a child should be out playing in the yard, not putting on makeup.
a mums think their child is the most wonderful creation ever I'm no different but no way would i parade my child as a mini adult. we need to keep them babies as long as possible they will grow up far too soon. it should be about dollies and prams as long as possible the make up comes too soon
it depends if the kid wants to do it or not in the first place and if they do the parents shouldn't push at all, kids switch from one thing to other, its up to the kids not the parents.
Nope. Its inappropriate and overrated. Its too much for kids to handle. They should be playing with dolls.
    ANY beauty pageant is VAIN.
I dont think it is right but i like to watch the shows that they have.
No, I don't think that they are a good thing.
