Should the WWE promote women based on skill, more than on beauty?

In my estimation, TNA promoting Awesome Kong, ODB %26amp; Roxxi Laveaux are good examples. They aren't ugly. But, they aren't exactly centerfolds. They are true athletes.

It is not necessarily one or the other; look at Beth and Mickie; but if were are talking bimbos like Sable, or Trish Stratus before she learned to wrestle, or Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson, etc--that is eye candy only. Vince has said, this is not ballet--but it should not be burlesque either.





Girls with character: Sara Del Rey; Cheerleader Melissa, Lufisto, Angel Orsisi, MsChif--they can generate interest because of ring skill and persona--they can't compete with Candice the porn star, etc. with the horny guys. I give Candice props; she has tried to learn to wrestle and sacrificed her body to do it.





Get mostly wrestlers and throw a few bimbos in to saifsy the juveniles and dirty old men.Should the WWE promote women based on skill, more than on beauty?
Yes, I am sick of talentless ';divas'; (There are a few good ones though, I like Beth and Victoria when she wasnt a jobber). TNA has a much better woman's division, especially Awesome Kong.





But still, Lufisto is the greatest female wrestler there is right now.
i think it's possible to do both. there are Divas, past and present, that fit the bill both ways. there are hot women that can wrestle.





and, to satisfy the males, maybe hire a couple women specifically for eye candy only, and don't put them in the ring unless absolutely necessary.
No, most of the WWE fans are horny teenagers so if they put clothes on the divas then wwe would lose a lot of male fans. That's a fact and everyone knows it. i could care less about TNA anyway its so effing boring I switched to the animal planet.
I hate TNA but i agree theyre better with women, wwe should make divas actuelly wrestle maybe even hardcore matches like tna, a bikini cntest everyonce in a while is ok but theres a limit

In a nutshell, yes they should. WWE gives women a bad name by pushing the beauties who have no skill instead of pushing the talented performers.
ye like Beth Phoenix is really good because of her strength and Mickie James and like even cause Maryse is rising shes still hot but WWE needs a mixture
