I think so. See most men chase women that look very good like a model and talk about women's looks all the time. With women on the other hand its common to see them with guys who aren't necessarily ugly, but not at their level in terms of looks.Are women's standards of beauty different then mens?

Women and men definatly have a different idead of beauty. Guys and I will agree of whom is pretty and not, however men like them because of their @ss and t*ts. Women will look more at the face, eyes and style of the women. Don't get me wrong I am very envious of women with a nice body, especially a nice flat stomach. To sum it up, women like what they want to look like and men look and are attracted to someone they want to f*ck. Lots of pigs out there.
Well, while MOST men do go for women that have super model bodies, I feel that I must defend those of us who DON'T go after them exclusively. I prefer a woman that has a great personality and a beautiful mind rather than an attractive body. Don't get me wrong, if she's got a great mind/personality and she's pretty on the outside too then that's a good thing. What I'm trying to say is, I'm one of the few men who looks at what's on the inside first.





So to answer your question; yes men and women typically have different tastes, but in the end beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
remember one thing? women love with heart but men love with sex? the first thing women looking in their men, are the cleaver, politeness and responsible in them. awhile the first thing men searching in women, are the sex appeal and beauty? and that's why we often seen the under average guys with the beautiful girls, the none-white guys with platinum blonde hair girls, the under average white guys with the sexy ethnicity girls?
Have you ever thought that maybe women aren't looking for guys with good looks? Or maybe that the guy that's ';ugly'; and with the pretty girl might actually make her happy?





Not all women chase guys because they are cute, a lot of women I know want a guy that makes them happy, if its because he makes her laugh or even because he's cheesy...its not all about looks
Men get physically attracted so easily...having a very good looking GF gives an ego boost! Its like winning a trophy that they could flaunt with their buddies. Women, on the other hand, get emotionally attached to a person with good personality...someone who cares for them and understands their feelings.
bill it hard to live up to men barbie type ideal but i have friends who like the rough ready look and the bald is beautiful seems to be a big thing to lol but half and half head lol still a turn offffffffffffffff
Yes, we men tend to look at the physical beauty first then try to work in other qualities. Women on the other hand, tend look for how the person makes them feel about themselves.
I think so, women usually like how a man speaks his conversation rather than his looks, though looks does matter too, just not as much as men think they do.
