No it's not.
Here's why:

Sure... usually you only have to wait a few days after getting your hair relaxed before should swim. Make sure you moisturize it very well after you're done. The Chlorine in the water (or salt in the ocean water) will dry your hair out.

If ir was 8 months ago, it is totally fine. There wont be any problems. If it was relaxed less than 6 weeks ago than there is a problem, but other than that, it is fine. Your due for another relaxing you know
