I'm 18 years old half persian and half italian. I stand 5'9'; tall and weigh 130 pounds and I know I am a beautiful woman on the inside and out. But what beauty means to me doesn't always mean the same to people. Why do people mostly think of beauty as what the body looks like? I mean I have a pretty face and a nice body but everyone (mostly in america) really seem to care about peoples body more than their face.Why is this? Or do you not agree?What does beauty mean these days?
As the first person posted noted, likely ';sexual'; stuff basically. I agree with you %26amp; I think it's discusting that many Americans think this way. I personly could care less what others think about my appearence, I'm proud of who I am %26amp; I wouldn't stoop to change that. I don't follow current trends or style, I'm true to myself.
To me, true beauty is the ability to see the inner beauty in yourself %26amp; others- being proud of who you are %26amp; being true to yourself. Not being a slave to fashion %26amp; what others expect you to behave or dress.

Beauty means whatever you want it to mean. In USA, culturally the people interchange style and discipline with beauty. Ofcourse keeping in style and in shape requires a lot of discipline and patience which is by itself a beautiful strength.
