Black Beauty: Black Beauty is a pistillate cultivar that is patented.

The Muscadine Grape is not patented but the black beauty is.

I would start with the Florida Grape Growers association. My grandparents live in Sebring and they grow Muscadine grapes on thier land. Apparently the association is very good and can give you all the information you need! They have contact info on thier website.
