Do i have to have a HS diploma to attend beauty or cosmetology school?

I'm 15.


My dream is to go to cosmetology school


but I don't go to HS I'm suppose to be home schooling but my mom doesn't get me books.. My mom forced me out of school just so she could have money to buy her cig's


but i love styling hair it's my passion..


I just wanted to know if anyone thinks its possible..Do i have to have a HS diploma to attend beauty or cosmetology school?
i think you need at least a GED. at least that's what the commercials for our local beauty school says.Do i have to have a HS diploma to attend beauty or cosmetology school?
I am not sure if a HS diploma or GED is required by the state board of cosmetology but the school I went to did require you to have one of them.


Check with your state board of licensing. Try Googling ';Your state'; and ';cosmetology board'; Also, most schools will not let you attend unless you are at least 17.
